You know, Tre. Because in our society we value profit. I do believe that if ideas such as this could be made profitable, they would spread. Community centers offer this things to a degree, but I feel that are seem more like after-school programs, and not like places where parents would drop their kids to hang out.
School based centers have the problem of liability schools want to minimize, yet an alternative environment where children and young adults (this last two words are horrible since they mean I’m an old adult now!) can experience play and learning from the perspective of discovery is needed.
