You are right. Too many factors involved.
It’s such a pity our society is car dependent.
I mean, I don’t know how is it where you are, but here in ABQ, if you don’t drive, you are screwed.
I live in a fairly descent area and the grocery store is maybe a little shorter than a milish away, but if I have to come back even when a limited amount of groceries walking it would be challenging. I used to do that 20 years ago in LA when I didn’t have a car and didn’t know better, but in the US, there are really no alternatives to live without a car.
I think I will get my act together and write that article on social determinants of health I’ve been thinking about writing for a year now.
I mean, you know, it’s an effort and I frequently feel that is too much of a pain for not such a great reward. But if I think about it, if I would get to write that for a masters program the rewards would be even less. The professor probably cares even less than the average Medium reader.

So, what did your neurologist said about all this?
