You already did and you have your place.
Of course, then the question is how do we get to 30k views or whatever makes bank. That, I don’t know!
There was a time in which I felt sex workers were the ones that had the greatest probability of leading a revolution in our current state of affairs in society. I admire the entrepreneurial spirit. Also the one of survival. But I do realize it’s not all “I’m poor and this is why I’m doing this.” I know there are other reasons like empowerment, the way someone may feel when someone is willing to pay a good chunk of money to spend an hour with us. Yes, I know, the body. But I suspect most people who choose to hang with us multiple times do it because they see past how do we look like. I guess there’s an energy that transpires us.
So there, you are a writer in your own right. And your story matters. And you are engaging (from the reader POV). Sorry, I think the other day you wrote asking “would my story make a book worth reading?” And I got busy with something else and I didn’t finish the story nor clapped nor answered. I think so. You are a great storyteller, Daisy. Engaging the audience is the hardest part. You are consistent. I’m sure you could finish writing a book before I start writing it!!!
There is this provider I follow, her name is Andrea Werhun, she is now on OF. I read her book, and like you, she wanted to tell her side of the story, reclaim her voice. I talked to her a couple of times during a presentation she made of a short film based on her book and she is approachable.
I hope this helps,
Pablo
