Well, I think that there are ways and ways of observing and being a spectator and traveling with others.

I could go into the narrator, be this a writer, a videographer, or whatever, needs to try to include the audience in the experience.

But for the one who sits and watches and watches and watches (like a frequently do when I watch travel or cycling videos), it is more of stop living my life through the experience of others, and for me to go and live life. It is about not being passive in my experience, sitting and watching, and wishing "I wish I'd be there," and go and be myself in the parcel of time I have allocated for me.

Possibly there is a synergetic relationship among the creator of content and the audience. Many of us read a story, or watch a video, and we think "I want or don't want to try this or that," which is fine. For me, the problem is when I spend ours and ours watching The Col Collective instead of going to my back yard and do what I already know I want to do.

Thank you for reading, Amy!

And for putting up with my lenghty comments (I guess I'm also trying to understand myself).

Pablo
