True.
It’s difficult to envision anything other than the reality in which we live, or to stop existing in a particular reality. It’s even harder to imagine where do we want to be and set course in that direction in a terrain that has not been charted.

Also, I frequently wonder, when I say I want, let’s say a bigger house or car or bicycle, am I not unknowingly tapping into the hierarchy?

I think the answer varies, but often is yes. Or at least sometimes. A few weeks ago, I felt compelled to look for a new car. Yes, mine is kind of falling apart, but when digging deep, I also wanted to be the guy with a nice new car.

The same with the bike, even if no one cares about bikes.

So, the hierarchy sometimes I feel is more insidious, maybe internal, also hurting us without knowing (which is probably the point you are making, I should get in the habit of finishing reading before I comment. It’s kind of like interrupting you mid sentence!)
