Today I was thinking about the pauses and our bodies. This sensation, this thing that we are always a step behind our bodies. I mean, if I touch, what I touched was touched a nanosecond earlier. When my brain realizes the sensation the thing already happened.
And then I thought about orgasms, and I wondered if what we feel is the act of not feeling, a sort of abandonment of the body that maybe by not feeling, we feel more. I don't want to say we feel the whole or beyond. But.
Now I'm thinking of Pink Floyd "Shine On You Crazy Diamond:" You reached for the secret too soon...
As long as the secret comes to us...
Thank you for sharing your poetry with us,
