The problem is that we are the powerful and the ignorant.
Okay, I get it, the very powerful have estates in New Zealand and Patagonia and private jets to take them there, but when compared to the rest of the globe, we are the powerful and the ignorant.
I mean, I am a nurse, no nuclear physicist, and I have an iPhone 12 and before the pandemia I used to go to Europe once a year to visit friends or family.
I don’t think I know any legally employed nurse in South America who could do that kind of thing. Maybe a few, but I’m not the exception.
I know housekeepers at the hospital who take vacations I would have never dreamed about when living in Argentina.
You and me are the powerful. Maybe not ignorant but who knows. I’ll say I’m ignorant. I certainly live like one. I’m still more worried about my AC than planting trees.
Sorry, Patrick. I just would like to see an exit from this, but it seems society already crashed. Most just don’t know it.
