It was mostly a response to an ugly situation at work. I felt it was not going to get resolved (it didn’t) but I need my job and writing was the right (safer) outlet.
I don’t think the piece will reach my superiors. A part of me hopes it doesn’t. I know it can be insulting. I know I would feel insulted. But also I know that they let them treat me in any way they think it’s ok and they don’t do anything about it. And unfortunately I know that if i want change I’ll have to leave the job. Which I may end up doing.
