Oh, Agnes! What a thoughtful and beautiful response. I had to let this one simmer a little bit because I never really know what to do with great compliments that come from people I really respect.

You know it is funny, when I was about 15 I wrote a book on my notebook, it was a fairly long thing for a 15 year old guy. I found it recently, but I felt too self conscious to really read it. It felt childish.

But two take away lessons I had from it. One: it was about a boy who would travel to America (that was when I was living in Argentina), and eventually I made it to the U.S.. That, I think was the first clue, or intuition that maybe we write own narrative with stories.

The other was that through my life some narratives had been repeating themselves, one of them is writing, the other travel, the other an idealistic infatuation with romance.

But writing has been in my life in and out for many years. At times producing some decent stuff. So, I hope I can produce some nice stories.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful compliment. I was going to comment on the idea of being one, but there is enough said. In the meantime I am going to allow my head to be inflated a little more for a little longer.

Thank you so much, Agnes!

Pablo
