Of course, this is first and foremost a social media platform. No engagement, no reads. Unless you are Obama or something like that.

I feel this platform rewards engagement and vulnerability. But of course, there are people who tend to group together. I can sometimes feel different groups forming and dissolving as time passes.
I believe Medium knows this. In a way this is no different than TikTok or YouTube. The masses will go and engage with the people who seem to have it all together. Or the alarmists who blare the alarm. Of course, we are geared to hear the warnings!

We want to be like the successful ones.
We want to belong.

At times I feel being here is like being a juglar who goes from town to town trying to get a piece of bread and a coin. And we get our coin, indeed.
