Let me quickly state I feel honored, and thank you.
Then I could continue writing a piece that could be called The lies we tell.
As if anything, we could always ask ourselves, are the forces of evil, the forces of good? Do the ones who operate the crank and handles of the world and infuse fear through mankind’s veins understand the consequences of their actions?
It’s been a couple of interesting weeks for me. But even when the fearful infuses fear, the universe continues being unfathomable, and if we have a conscience, maybe it’s because there is a conscience.
All this to say that even when we may have obliterated our way of life, life will continue with or without us.
And even if our society is suicidal, the suicidal does not always have the last word.
Sometimes life tell us keep on living. With the courage required to be truly alive and escape from the jails we built for ourselves in our minds. Then, once freed, we’ll be thankful and glad, as we sleep under the stars, the wind blowing dreams for us to dream. This time we won’t be afraid to live our dreams.
Thank you, Matthew.
I’m glad my poem, which as you may know was inspired by Thomas Plummer, inspired your piece.
Now, if this was possible, maybe it is possible to us to dream a new future, a new present, a new us, and for it to germinate and for it to grow.
Let’s dream, and water those dreams.
Thank you again.
