It's the only identity they have. While some individuals have multiple identities, some only have one. For some, this identity is their penises. For other their bank accounts. Or trucks. Or clothing items. Usually are tangible things. Or things that appear to be tangible. It is super hard to quantify a spiritual connection (and no, I'm not proposing here to be anyone's spiritual best friend), but it is the same dilemma some face when thinking about platonic love. I believe that platonic love exists and has a place, but most individuals need the tangible to make it real. Hence I feel this is the reason for most sex proposals and predators. And yes, of course, we have pathological dangerous people in the mix, but I would like to suspect that most are individuals who are unable to say "I'm awed by you! How I wish you would be my friend" and instead send a dick pic because that is all they think they have in their arsenal. I mean, they are asking for proximity, but in a completely wrong way.And yes, they don't want to get close. They really want to be seen while staying hiding. They don't want to show vulnerability. So yes, they are cowards. The only thing they can do is to try to own others in material ways. It is as if when I go for a long run, I would try to place a fence or private property sign on every single flower I see, to place in a cage every rabbit, to trap every coyote. And here we are, trying to do that to women and men alike (through different mechanisms, of course. I really don't want to get into how men like to have their entourage of idiots to validate their idiocy, and if possible, make them work for them). And yes, I own some of that shit (not too much, I would like to think).
