It’s sad people are unable to say “I’m not interested.”
Of course is even sadder when people engage in a relationship knowing before hand they will not follow through.
I think that more or less we know to which extent and depth we are willing to take a relationship when we start it. To which people we want to listen. With whom we feel comfortable to share our souls with.
I have a certain level of suspicion that many men are so alone and confused they deceive themselves into going after people to quench their thirst for soul-mating. We all need soul, but many are afraid to go into the deep where the soul exists.
I’m thinking about a book a writer from Medium recommend to me once, Women Who Run With The Wolves, by Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estés. You may like it. Talks about how to protect the soul of the feminine.
Sorry I got into this preachy mode of “you should do this, Esther!” But for some reason the spirit of things lead me to recommend this book to you.
And then, they will see your soul. But you will be well equipped to protect it. Because, believe me, pricks are everywhere!!!
