I wonder why we can’t make Earth a place for all.
I think it is because we are afraid. We fear one another. We don’t trust each other. We follow blindly. Dangerously blindly.

Or is it because we lack hope?
All gurus claim, “take another step.” And a step is taken and nothing happens. Not even the sound of the twig breaking under our feet.

And the ones who are sleeping ask us not to bother, for the elixir of dream to keep on spreading. For the cold of night to embrace us within the contradiction of the warmth inside our hearts.

Sorry. Not much to do with your piece. Yet, I guess it was inspired by it. Or maybe the book I was reading. Or both. Or all.
