I learned yesterday the current vice president of Argentina (a female) and former president was indicted to 6 years of prison for corruption. Although I don’t know if the charges are true or not, she would not be the first chief of state in the country to have done something wrong. Back on the day, in the 90s we had this guy who built an airstrip where a Boeing 747 could land in the middle of nowhere particularly close to his home in a sparsely populated province and no one beat an eye.

As I think it is commendable corruption is persecuted, I highly suspect this is not about corruption, but about a woman being “bossy” towards a whole country of patriarchal men.
