I gained ten pounds last week.

I eat and eat and eat and eat.

Will speaking make the dangers real? Will anyone listen? Will anyone care?

I wonder if the pages of Medium would be filled with poems and essays of open condemnation and pain if a foreign nation had invaded the United States and abducted the President.

Will some AI “read” these words and prevent me from reentry to the United States next time I travel abroad? Should I sell my house and cash in whatever I can? What was the moment in which the Jews in Nazi Germany realized that it was time to pack their belongings and flee? What was the reason their descendants couldn’t see the Palestinian people as suffering from the same plight their ancestors suffered once?

I gained ten pounds last week that adorn my abdomen like a sinking lifesaver, like a cancer that grows and grows.

Was it too difficult to have the iPhone for five or eight years instead of two, so we don’t need rare metals? Or to ride public transit or to ride a horse? Yes, an organic biologic horse instead of being dependent on cars that require oil or rare metals. A horse that may have baby horses, and we will take care of them and show them affection. I don’t ride horses. I am cautious around them, which is to say that I am afraid of them. But wouldn’t this be more noble than driving cars that need either rare metals or gas?

I went first to McDonald’s and then to another joint.
