I don’t want to say that I like the hug analogy because I know that hugs are very factual, but what I am trying to say is that sometimes when we hug someone (especially standing) sometimes you can feel this balance, like both “huggers” are contributing to the hug, like none is holding the other, and those I feel there are very constructive hugs. When it’s not me I’m holding someone up or not someone who is picking my pieces like if I am a little boy.

And I think the same applies to writing. Many of us (at least me) we write as an act of catarsis. But there are times that after I write something I can tell “that does not add anything to the world, and all it does is beg for someone to be used as a cane”. Usually those stories I think they carry a lot of me and I statements.

Thank you for a great story, Bella!

When you were talking about hugs and when I was writing about it, I could not stop seeing a hug as two ( or more) people well rooted into the ground, unshakable yet soft and fluid, like a tree, grounded yet reaching for the sky.

Thanks again,

Pablo
