Hi Trisha!!!!

I didn’t know you guys were reading the invisible cities!

I’m delighted and also I wish I would have been able to participate (unless I can still participate- on the discussion, I mean)

I no longer remember how many times I read the book, nor how many times I paid for it.

I remember I got my hands on it first when I was dating this girl in Argentina. The girl, the time and the book intermingle with one another, but is Calvino the one I love the most. If it is fair to say one loves someone more than another. We love different, I guess.

Anyway, I think some writers leave us clues about life. And I remember when at the end of the book The Great Khan asks Marco Polo how to escape the inferno we make together in the construction of what we call society. And Marco tells the Great Khan, All we can do is to see what and who in the midst of inferno are not inferno. Thank you for being not inferno, Trisha. Thank you for talking us to wherever you go to find your words.
