Hi Jackie. Sorry you had to go through this experience.

I work in the medical field as a nurse, and I always tell my patients, especially when they hesitate about a procedure, they always have the right to change their mind at any time, assuming they are not under anesthesia.

Of course risks and benefits are throughly explained, and sometimes we may not agree with the patient decision, but we respect it (plural because I think I echo the bulk of the medical community).

Regardless of your initial consent he behaved in such a way that did not make it easier for you to refuse.

Again, I’m terrible sorry you had to go through that.
