Hi Iva.
After reading your comment on your poem, I’m thinking we may need to work for our poems. Sometimes I like it when a poem just manifest itself like from thin air, but I think there are times that when we achieve greatness we work through stuff. Thank you for persevering and working through this piece.

Then keep hope and keep heart. You are right. I think sometimes we are blinded by illusions in the mansion of broken mirrors. But I think this communion, this having poets all around…
I just came back from a poetry slam, and even though I didn’t pass the first round it was so invigorating to be with other poets. And you know, people like me so focused on material gains may be off course. The guy who won I think was homeless or on the edge of being homeless. But he had such a gentle heart. And yes, maybe all that people like me can do is to show up, but the point is that by existing, by creating this beauty you create, we focus on what makes life worthwhile. And for that I thank you.
