Hi Aggy!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Sister!
You know, the problem is that when you start a sentence with ‘this is the wisest thing I have heard last week’ my ego gets a little bit inflated and it’s hard to go back to Earth, 😂 hahaha!
At some point Mr. Orange will have to confront his own reality. But more importantly, as a society, we need to face our own reality.
I mean, in the US at the super market check out, the people we glorify (celebrities) are most white.
Let me be honest, whenever I think about who is an attractive celebrity, often White women come to mind and it’s very difficult to deconstruct that.
Of course I think it begins with realizing there is a soul behind the skin, accompanying the body, but it is a purposeful action to think about people beyond race and body shape.
Of course I can go on forever, like at times I think the body is a reflection of the soul, but I feel this is mostly when the body is in movement like when we run, dance, spar, cook, when we are in what we love, but this is different from looking at a smiley face and think “you are beautiful because you have fair skin and blue eyes and that is it”.
We need a lot of soul searching. We can encourage one another, but the work is individual.
Thank you again for your kind comment, Aggy!
Talk to you later.
