Do you think then there's a point when we need to realize the limitations of the other?

I mean, there are things they may not be able to communicate to them and therefore we may not be able to establish a relationship from the place we intended?

Like, we want to be very close friends with someone who only intends to have a superficial relationship, or someone who approach us because we are in a position of power or they see a partial view from us (I had people who in the past seen me as someone to be rescued, then when they realized I didn't need rescuing they moved away to other projects/people, but they left a void in me because I was thinking the approach was being made from a place of friendship, a desire for connection without a power differential).

Anyway, great insights. Thank you for sharing them with us.
