The bureaucracy reminded me of searching through government buildings in Buenos Aires. I wonder if in the West we keep on optimizing tasks so people keep on grinding the wheels of a machine they no longer care to be a part of. Going hungry like dogs for bones. An identity a paper card. If it’s written it happened and it’s true, even if it did not occur.
