And let us know!

Joke aside, yes it’s a very weird situation nowadays. I used to work overtime to pay for my trips. Now it seems I work overtime just to afford groceries. No kidding.
Yes, I am still able to afford travel but it doesn’t seem as something as straightforward as 2019.
I don’t know where audiences and such are nowadays. It seems that people want very specific things, cookie cutter kind of things. Sometimes I get the feeling people want to consume success through any media possible. Like, if you look like you are successful then they would buy anything from you. I am not sure what successful looks like. Well yes, like a Hollywood movie star.
Anyway.
I do believe there’s a market for authenticity.
A few years ago when I was in graduate school and since I don’t have many friends and no family in the US, I was joking with a friend about hiring a service that would be called Über Friends and Family, then I would get people who would come to my graduation and cheer me up.
I know, it sounds sad and pathetic, but a part of me believes there’s a market for that, for having a friend to hang out with, where authenticity exists. Just to crack a joke or two (and for them to laugh at them!).
I mean, everyone is so busy.
Then there’s labor. And toiling. And all this we do when we need to survive.
People tell me there’s life out there outside the 9 to 5. It is a vast Universe. It must be true. We just need to find it.
Hang in there.
